How to make re-distributable flash desktop wallpaper installer using Wallpaper Scout

Wallpaper Scout creates re-distributable flash wallpaper installer

Flash Wallpaper Tutorial: How to create redistributable flash wallpaper installer (.EXE) using Wallpaper Scout that will install flash wallpaper on end-user desktop .

Run Wallpaper Scout and select the flash movie you want to use as flash desktop wallpaper:

Now click Make Setup button on the main toolbar:

Flash desktop wallpaper installer settings dialog will appear:

Change Title, Copyrights, Publisher and other fields to your own values, for example we will create "Music Clip Desktop" flash wallpaper:

Also check Icons tab to set readme, license, post-readme text or RTF documents and specify if the installer should create additional icons and will place a shortcut to your web-site:

On Wallpaper tab you can specify the flash movie alignment, size, background color and add additional files that should be installed along with a flash movie (this feature is useful if your flash movie requires external images, sound files etc.)

Click Generate button to generate standalone flash wallpaper .EXE installer.

Now let's test generated flash wallpaper installer. Click on Music Clip Desktop file and it will run the installation process. The welcome screen will appear:

Click Next button to move to the next installation step. The setup will confirm the default installation folder:

An anstallation will confirm the shortcuts group title:

Setup will show the summary information about the installation. Click Install to finish an installation:

Now our flash wallpaper is installed on the computer and play on background of desktop.
