Blog (the same as "weblog") - a personal or business online journal or diary shared over the web. Publishing blog is "blogging". Entries in blog are called posts. Blogs are frequently updated and entries in blog are arranged in chronological order.
There are large number of different web-sites that offer blog account on their site. Advanced users can install blog engine on their own web-site.
Post2Blog is a desktop blogging client software that helps to update your blog without visiting a web-site and can help to compose posts offline, post selected text from Internet Explorer, Firefox, publish pictures and files directly from Explorer or even use MS Word as editor to compose new posts.
To use Post2Blog with your blog you have to have an existing blog account.
